Koyama Dojo is proud to host this year’s annual Hakko Denshin Ryu Jujutsu Tai Kai in Ann Arbor, MI. This year’s seminar will be held Friday, October 14th – Sunday, October 16th. We will cover many topics over these three days including Waza (all dans), practical applications (henka), weapons defense (gun/knife), shiatsu, banquet dinner, and much more!

Congratulations to Sensei Scott Evans for his successful test. Sensei Evans has been promoted to Menkyo Kaiden Shihan (7th Dan). Be sure to let him know how proud you are the next time you see him.

Congratulations to Charlie Hatch for a successful test on July 30th. Charlie has been promoted to Shodan (black belt). Be sure to let him know how proud you are of them the next time you see him. This is a significant achievement for any student. Charlie will now begin Nidan training.

The 2010 Tai Kai will be hosted this year by Eighth Light Dojo in Akron, Ohio. Dates are tentative. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
