Sensei Reynolds

(pictured left)

Sensei Reynolds began studying martial arts at age 14. Over the years he went from art to art studying several different styles but never finding the right one for him. Sensei Reynolds achieved a black belt in Kosho Ryu Kenpo and taught in Ohio. He began training in Hakko Denshin Ryu under Soke LaMonica at the Eighth Light Dojo in Akron Ohio. He was impressed by the art and felt he finally found the right one for him. Being in law enforcement he sees the advantages of studying Hakko Denshin Ryu. He had to relocate to the Detroit Michigan area and continued his training at the Koyama Dojo at the Ann Arbor Michigan YMCA. Under Shihan Evans he obtained the rank of Shodan and Nidan. Sensei Reynolds enjoys both learning and teaching at the Koyama Dojo with Shihan Evans.
